Montetods is a wonderful way for families to experience the Montessori Principles and Method in a bright and welcoming environment.
Using Montessori materials and activities, we build on critical skills and parents watch their children build relationships with other children as well as gain an understanding of Montessori.
Your guide is a Montessori Teacher and Trainer, a Dementia-Montessori Consultant and Mother of 4...
Join us on Tuesday's 10.30 - 11.45
Our sessions start with a warm welcome and time for the children to explore and choose & work on activities with their parent/carer -the leader navigates the room, on hand for explanations and chats.
Activities are simple, self-explanatory, generally with a control of error and geared towards developing hand-eye coordination, motor skills, the ability to concentrate, independence and more..
In Montessori, work is synonymous with play and oh so much fun!
From puzzles, to cutting, pairing, sorting, matching, tonging, threading, sticking, painting, sweeping, balancing......it just goes on!
We finish by tidying up (develops a sense of responsibility ) and then settle down for a sing song and story.......
shhhhh....there might even be a parachute!
£6 a session, 2nd child £3
